  2. Do you use the onion after? Seems like an awful waste of an onion. I never had trouble seasoning beans tho so 🤷🏽‍♀️

  3. You get zero flavor and just color by doing it this way. You need to expose the cell wall to release flavor and that’s why we cut vegetables 🤦🏽‍♀️

  4. You’re also way over-boiling them. You bring to a low boil and then simmer. Rapid boiling does little other than disintegrate the beans.
